Most interesting EVPs

Here is a collection of some of our most interesting EVP recordings to date.

1. “John, I'll miss Andrew.“.
This spirit voice was recorded on one of our digital recorders on January 20th, 2010, at Union Cemetery in Sedro Wooley, WA. It is the clearest EVP we have recorded to date (Class A).

2. “Henry, I feel like I've lost my face.
Captured through the ghost box at Wellington, Washington, June 18, 2010.

3. “'You promised me, did you not?' then a male voice says 'Yes!'“.
Another voice captured through the ghost box at Wellington, Washington, June 18, 2010. A woman sings:”You promised me. Did you not?” A male voice answers:”Yes!”

4. “a child singing or humming.“.
Child humming a song at Wellington, Washington, August 6, 2010.

5. “Paul. Listen. It's me, (Ben?).“.
This recording was also taken August 6, 2010, at Wellington, Washington. Among the dead of the Wellington train disaster were two people with the name Ben or Benjamin: Benjamin G. Thompson, and Benjamin F. Jarnagan, 31, engineer. See http://www.qahistory.org/wellingtonlist.htm

6. “They left me to rot here.
Captured through the ghost box at Northern State farm area, September 11, 2010.

7. “The (bleeping) girl is strange.“.
This EVP was captured during a ghost box session at Northern State farm area on Sept. 25th, 2010.
It is not uncommon to discover vulgar language in recordings during ghost box sessions here.

8. “I already know how to!
While conducting an EVP session at Northern State on July 24, 2010, I instructed the spirits how to turn on the mini-maglite. I did not hear a response at the time, but upon listening to the audio recording afterward, I heard this response.

9. Sedro Woolley Museum EVP, February, 2011.
Carmen’s digital recorder was sitting on a glass case when this response to my question was captured. I asked “Do you want us to get out again? Do you want us to leave now?” I enhanced the response. I've been meaning to tell you.
Here is just the response, enahanced a bit more. I've been meaning to tell you.

Tuesday, March 15, 2011
After re-listening to the original audio, I discovered something today that I missed during my initial review. Let’s back up for a minute….
Here is that same secion of audio, only this time, I include a few seconds previous to the above question/response. Immediately after I say “I know there’s someone in here. We heard you tell us “Get out!” the last time.”, there is an immediate response“, which is then followed by the question/response I posted above. This clip is not enhanced in any way.

10. Northern State horse stables, December, 2011
While on a recent short investigation at the Northern State horse stables building, I captured a response to a request. I was attempting to elicit a response by whistling. I did not hear it at the time. The first clip is the unmodidifed version. The second is just the response, with noise removed and slightly amplified.

Clip 1
Clip 2

Oddly enough, that same night at about 2:30 AM, Lori and the cat were awoken by the sound of someone whistling. (But at 2:30 AM?) She thought it was coming from outside in the street, so she raised the blinds, looked out, and saw no one there.

Weird….. Perhaps the whistling spirit hitched a ride on the way home from the investigation?

11. Private residence, August 23, 2014

An elderly woman’s voice says¬†I'm sure something is happening. Enhanced version:¬†I'm sure something is happening.
